Bounty - Admiralty Pattern Cutter

Rather than a Navy hero, this boat is a movie star.  She was made for the 1962 film “Mutiny on the Bounty”, starring Trevor Howard and Marlon Brando.

This cutter is made of teak, and was clinker built.  Clinker is a form of boat construction where the edges of the hull planks overlap.  This method was used by the Vikings to build their famous longships from split wood planks.
