The Trust is assisting the Mary Rose Trust in commissioning a scheme for landscape design of the open area on HMS Victory’s port side, which will form the approach to a new building designed to house the hull of Mary Rose and the museum of artifacts, and for which the Mary Rose Trust has been awarded £21m grant funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The landscape design will be carried out by Fabrik landscape designers and includes upgrading of the surfaces, new visitor seating and improved access round the stern of HMS Victory. |
